Report - John S
First big match of 2010, and the weather was gorgeous - hot, sunny and no wind. Also no aircraft noise due to volcanic ash from Iceland. I played OKish with my 6-iron - better on the back nine, but every time I tried changing up to the 5-iron it went a bit wrong... Also, very poor on the short game. On the 16th I had a 1.5 foot putt for a par but managed to miss that. Plus on the 10th hole JEJ wellied the ball right at my ankle with his sand wedge. Not too painful but am hoping for an impressive bruise... Good competition amongst the other three...
