	Merivel: A Man of his Time	Merivel (the bloke from Restoration) is a bit older now and contemplating his descent into a lonely old age. Urged by his lovely young daughter to make some use of himself he embarks on a study of the soul of animals, but in the meantime gets constantly distracted by events including becoming the owner of a bear, falling in love with the wife of a Captain in the Swiss Guard and visiting Versailles.
