Books - Review

Joe SpeedboatFrankie is growing up in a slightly dysfunctional family in a small Dutch town when he is involved in a tragic lawn-mowing accident. When he emerges from his coma he has to come to terms with a new mute, wheelchair life but he also learns that a new family has arrived in town and he is befriended by Joe Speedboat, an ambitious, talented and crazy boy, who occupies his time with bomb-making and aeronautical engineering. Joe also realises that they can make use of Frankie's one remaining strength - his right arm.

Great - really good story, with exciting scenes, great plot, cool characters. Translated from Dutch of course.
