Books - Review

Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsHarry is in hiding - he and Ron and Hermione can't return to Hogwarts for the new term but must instead track down and destroy the remaining Horcruxes that each contain part of Voldemort's soul. Aided by all the usual characters, and a few new ones they battle onwards, falling out with each other and making up just in time to save each others' lives.

Jolly exciting, especially the big battle at Hogwarts at the end. Shame there was no quidditch though. Bought this for Isobel on her visit here. Larissa read it first - staying up until 2am on a schoolnight!

Re-read this (and a couple of the others) in late 2019/early 2020. Primarily to try and learn more Harry Potter character names to beat Laila at the Harry Potter game. Not very successful at that but enjoyed the ones I read. I think 7.5 is still the right score for this one. Possibly an 8.
