![]() | The Mirror Book | Charlotte has achieved success as an author, emerging from within her literary family (her father is the famous poet and writer CK Stead, "Karl"). However a crisis in her personal life leads her to start questioning how her upbringing and family influences might have had a negative effect on her. She describes and analyses many incidents from her youth, undergoes therapy and counselling and basically concludes her parents were pretty crap. |

So interesting! Beautifully written, and seems such a well balanced account. What a childhood though! Great fun to read all the Auckland references.
