 | Small Bomb at Dimperley | Corporal Valentine Vere-Thissett is de-mobbed after WW2 and returns to his family home, the vast but falling-down Dimperley House. With no cash, but with the help of Zena, a London evacuee still living at the house with her young child, he finds innovative solutions to solve his family's problems.
