The Thirty-Nine StepsRichard Hannay is idling around London, slightly bored and disillusioned when a journalist asks him for help with foiling a plot to kick off WWI. The journalist is later murdered in Hannay's flat and so he goes on the run to evade the villains and the police. He heads to Scotland where he hides out, gets discovered, runs, disguises himself, runs again... and foils the baddies!

Quite good, although some of the coincidences are amazing eg he just happens to end up at the Scottish hideaway HQ of the baddies! Not as good as Rogue Male I would say. Although I have given both a seven!
