Mark is a commercial airline pilot and has flown Airbus A320s and Boeing 747s. This book presents some of his thoughts on the modern experience of flying airliners and air travel, together with some autobiographical details.
Well, quite worthy but a bit dull. Nicely written but constantly feels like he has had a few interesting(ish) thoughts that he is really spinning out as far as he can. Some interesting facts along the way of course (eg the naming of waypoints for local landmarks/culture such as over the Tasman a trio of points called WALTZ, INGMA and TILDA). A lot of dull waffle in between though - didn't finish it in the end.
