The Grams are a newly emerging rock group, probably in the style of The Verve, or someone like that. Anyway, this book is the story of their emergence from first gigs to international stardom, to the pretentious lead singer (Keva?) getting all moody and splitting the band up. Lots of sex and drugs of course, as well as the rock 'n' roll.
Bits of it were kind of interesting, but sometimes he puts too much detail in that you can't follow the story anymore - similarly there seemed to be far too many support characters, hangers-on, promoters, researchers, I'm not sure exactly what any of them were supposed to be, never mind who they were shagging that particular page. Perhaps that's just a true reflection of the rock 'n' roll lifestyle though.
