Showing all books by: Johan Norberg

Norberg relates an upbeat account, based on statistics, of how the world and humanity has largely made progress over the last few centuries and decades. Considering issues including poverty, health, education, freedom and equality he shows how, in spite of all today's problems, we are (mostly) far better off than we were.
Quite interesting. He is trying to remind us while huge problems still face humanity eg global warming, terrorism, global thermonuclear warfare etc, humanity has been pretty ingenious at fixing things so far, and if anything we are only getting more ingenious.
