Night Sky
A WW2 story of heroic French resistance fighters, who, aided by the plucky Royal Navy, help to ferry shot down airmen back to England. But it all goes wrong when horrible French traitor Vasson infiltrates the network in pursuit of an escaped Jewish German scientist who holds a valuable secret. Can the brave English/Breton woman and her young son escape at the last minute on a yacht in spite of the fact they have no experience of sailing, other than listening to people talk about it?
Great WW2 thriller, very exciting - a book picked off the shelf at the Coromandel holiday house, had to stay up late to finish it.
