The story of the Battle of Britain. Strategy, tactics, aircraft, leaders, pilots, and a day by day account of the crucial weeks.
Excellent. Very well written, technical and detailed when required, and good portraits of the key commanders. A re-read of course - this book having emerged recently from long hibernation in a loft somewhere in England.

The story of a disastrous Allied bombing raid over the fictional German town of Altgarten in 1943. With chapters divided between German and British experiences, Len details all the preparation and operations of both the raid and the air raid defences.
Great, really good story, loads of technical details, fictional but like a documentary. A re-read of course, I would guess I first read this in my 20s?
