All four members of a respected Kansas farming family are brutally murdered in their house one night, and the cops have virtually no clues to go on. Fortunately the two criminals are terminally stupid and give themselves away enough times for the police to eventually get them.

Well, a bit stagnant in places, and some clearly totally invented dialogue, in this supposedly true story. He wrote Breakfast at Tiffany's too.
