The story of two friends who go through life quietly, playing board games, telling jokes, fascinated in the details of life around them, but rarely engaging with anything. Then Leonard meets Shelley and he finds some motivation to expand his horizons.

Great little story, very funny in places, the opening line made me laugh out loud.

Joseph (Panenka) suffers blinding headaches, and also has to deal with a disgrace from his past. But then he meets Esther and begins to feel more optimistic.

Great, good story.
