 | A Little Life | Four friends graduate from university and embark on their careers in New York. Relationships strengthen and break and are remade, success, failure, happiness, addiction affect the group to some degree and the central character of Jude (talented litigator), loved by all of them has to come to terms with the trauma of his childhood and his subsequent abusive relationships. | This was a great read, but a little harrowing in places and in fact I think it was just a bit too long, and I didn't finish it. |
