Bloke goes to university dreaming of getting on University Challenge, which he does, but annoys his old mates in the process.

Made me laugh a couple of times - especially when I knew all the song lyrics that he quoted in the guess the song lyrics game. Dad chose this for me as Christmas present.

The story of a relationship told via a series of snapshots of one day from selected years of their lives. Emma and Dexter meet as they leave uni, but together or apart continue to be an emotional influence on each other for the rest of their lives.

Quite good. Funny in places, moving and a super twist.

Marnie and Michael have a mutual friend who enjoys match-making and they and several others end up on the coast-to-coast, a long-distance walk across northern England. The others drop out leaving more opportunities for romance - and hilarious misunderstandings.

Yep, nicely written, quite funny.
