 | Mouth to Mouth | The narrator bumps into Jeff, an old school friend in a airport. While waiting for a delayed flight Jeff tells the story of how he once saved the life of a man about to drown while swimming in the sea. He then sought out the man in later life to discover he is a successful art dealer. Jeff is employed by the man (not knowing he is his saviour) but then things get more complex and Jeff begins to wonder if he made a mistake saving the man's life in the first place. | Very good, one of La's book club books. |
