Adam worked as a junior doctor in various NHS hospitals in the UK and describes in great detail and thoroughness the terribly long hours, the stress, the low pay and the bullying. But also the satisfaction, the fun and comradeship. Packed with funny, sad, tragic and downright weird anecdotes.

Brilliant book, lovely to read and very thought provoking.
