Report - John S
First game of 2012, with no JEJ, who couldn't face the scene of last year's meltdown again. Or was busy preparing to go round the world or something.
Anyway, we had a gorgeous bright blue morning, frost on the grass, and sun shining on the snowdrops. We both played OK for the first game of the season, although hole 1 took a while as we searched (ultimately successfully) for Geoff's ball, but after that things went fairly smoothly. Geoff got a couple of pars, and I missed an 18 inch putt for a par. Grr. A few mis-hits and a few great shots along the way.
