Absolutely fascinating and very moving at times. Chapter 2 was all about clipping aneurysms, and mentions coiling too - just after I'd spent some days at work pricing clips and coils for neurosurgery! (Although of course its radiologists who use the coils, not neurosurgeons). A really good read, and it's shortlisted for the 2015 Wellcome Prize, whose judging panel is chaired this year by Bill Bryson!
