Great stirring stuff. Plenty of skirmishes with U-boats, long nights escorting convoys with ships sinking one by one, and the usual icy convoy to Murmansk, battling against the worst storms in the ocean. All of the expected characters are here, with tough, resourceful captains and lieutenants, and plucky engineers, stokers and sailors, as well as a few bad apples to even things up. Finished this at work on Good Friday.
