Pretend I'm DeadMona is a house cleaner, very good at her job (she collects vacuum cleaners), but a little prone to poking her nose into the private corners of her clients' houses. She also volunteers at a needle-exchange and there she meets Mr Disgusting. They fall for each other, but the relationship is doomed to fail and Mona moves on, searching for meaning in her life and always with an eye open for any prescription drugs she can pinch from her clients. Meeting an odd set of people on the way, she begins to come to terms with her unusual childhood.
