The story of the wildfire in Fort McMurray, Alberta in 2016. Uncontrollable, it ripped through the city of around 80,000 people with the population scrambling to evacuate ahead of the flames.

Very scary story of global warming, exploitation of fossil fuels and the ever-increasing intensity of wildfires. Great description of how the tar sands industry works too.
