Jolly good, but a bit dry in places. Pressie from Helen!

The story of John Harrison and his quest to make the first clock that will keep time accurately enough to enable ships to discover their longitude at sea.

Really good, this is probably the third time I've read it, and still really interesting. And I've just read it again (29/11/05)!
