Anil's Ghost
Anil is a Sri Lankan who left her country early in life to train as a forensic pathologist in the West. She returns to Sri Lanka with Amnesty International to investigate political killings. She works with Sanath, an archaeologist, and meets his doctor brother, Gamini, and has to investigate the body they find at an ancient site, a body that is not as old as the others...
Super! Full of good characters battling to do their best in the midst of civil war and corruption. He makes you really believe in the characters, something that Arthur C. Clarke, for example, could study. Bit of a sad story though.
