Face It
Three teenagers are holidaying on a remote island in the Marlborough Sounds but when their parents leave them for a few days some bad guys turn up (European bad guys no less) with a hostage or two, and when they realise the kids have observed their murder of one of the hostages during an escape attempt, the hunt is on, and the kids have to run and hide. But then they decide their only chance of survival is to take the fight to the enemy. Local knowledge, brains, and an ability to eat raw shellfish are their only advantages...
Not bad. Quite enjoyed the story, thought the teenage hormonal thing was a bit overplayed maybe. If they'd just kept their heads down and not kept arguing with each other...? Anyway, written by Nikki's dad, so gets a bonus half mark too!
