 | The Arrest | A strange global event has meant that pretty much all technology has stopped working. No electronics, no cars, no phones. Living in a small coastal community supported by a communal farm, a group of people get by helping each other out, bartering, administering their own justice. Then Todd arrives in his retro-fitted nuclear powered tunnel boring machine, and quickly the balance of their simple daily lives is disrupted, particularly for those who knew Todd from before the Arrest. | Interesting, quirky, probably a bit deep for my current levels of literary focus. |
