Climbers
Mike is a climber, living in Yorkshire, hanging out with a bunch of his weird climbing friends. They go out climbing together, drink together, but you're not quite sure if they really are friends or not. Very odd relationships. They need each other, to go climbing with, but maybe not so much for friends. Or are they friends? Makes you think anyway. And Mike's relationship with his wife, then ex-wife, then friend's wife is odd too. Maybe its just Mike who is odd.
Kind of thought-provoking, but strange. A bit dry in places, a bit confusing too, but also some great writing about the actual climbs, and the landscape (so much rain!).
