History of Wolves
The story of a strange teenage girl growing up in a rural community somewhere in Minnesota. She seems lonely and friendless until the Gardner family move in across the lake, and she becomes the regular baby-sitter for their little boy Paul. However the Gardners are a little odd too...
This was OK, I guess, but the girl just seemed a bit too strange, and everything around her seemed strange too. Didn't quite believe it. Well written though and quite compelling in terms of finding out what happens in the end... The first one I have read from my birthday present of The Booker Shortlist. Thanks La.
