Lance's story from childhood, through cancer diagnosis and treatment to winning the Tour de France (twice), and getting a great wife and kid on the way.

Super stuff - read it all in one day, gripping story, well told, with heaps of interesting cycling info too. Lent to me by JEJ - must have been an inspiration to him. Very moving.

Volume 2 of Lance's autobiography, covering more wins in the Tour de France, and more stuff on how to cope with adversity and emerge a winner. (Hint - this involves being totally comitted and single-minded about your goal.)

Borrowed from JEJ. Jolly good, especially when read on hols in the Lake District with JEJ, Geoff, Catherine, and Lucy, the week after Lance wins his record-breaking sixth Tour! JEJ provided the gang each with their own 'Livestrong' wristband, from the Lance Armstrong foundation. A nice touch I thought, and will serve as a reminder of a good time spent with good friends in a beautiful place. And how other people's lives may be much more difficult than your own.
